Emotions and Oils!

You ever have those days where you are on an emotional rollercoaster and you feel like your never getting off. It just keeps going and spinning and throwing your body all over the place. Yep. Those days. Emotions aren't something often talked about they are usually just be swept under the rug.  Did you know even when you put your emotions into a box or under a hidden rug your body still has to process them? This can show up in so many different places. As an expert emotional box packer, I have seen my body process emotions through... Acne, Hangry-ness, rashes, headaches, lack of sleeping, oversleeping, loss of voice, body aches, tears, white noise, negative self-talk, anxiety, fast muscle fatigue, loss of appetite, brain fog, depression, not holding a chiropractic adjustment, lack of motivation...  Typically when we talk emotions we chat about STRESS. I always use Stress Away as my daily support - but then there are other emotions. The ones that really get in deep and latch onto something inside of you. Where sometimes it can feel like this is the new you - stuck in that emotion. But I am here to tell you - this doesn't have to be your new reality. You just need some TOOLS!

I've been using essential oils to help with my emotions for years! I've used them for grief, anxiety, stress, negativity, depression, anger, and to pull myself into a positive place of happiness, gratitude, safety, and all those feel-good emotions. I have seen significant support with my whole body health when I support my emotional health! 

Ok so let's talk about the science behind how this works!


The limbic system is a system of nerves and networks in the brain that controls basic emotions and drives. It is the emotional brain. It supports five major functions: emotions, behavior, motivation, long-term memory, and sense of smell. We use essential oils for direct support to the limbic brain. Specifically to stimulate memories and emotions. As you inhale essential oils, the tiny molecules go through the nose and olfactory bulb. Your olfactory bulb is a part of your limbic system and therefore your response to an aroma is going to be emotional before it can be rational. This is great news! That means you can use essential oils to recall memories, both good and bad. If they are bad, you can use the oils to help you release cellular memories stored in the body, allowing you to process and move past them. WOOT WOOT!!

You know when your driving by a state fair and you smell the popcorn - you might immediately have a memory pop up of a grandparent taking you to the fair as a child. Maybe you walked into your home and your favorite meal scent hits you and you immediately flashback to the last time you had it. The Feelings Kit is what I call an emotional detox in a box! 


There are six fantastic essential oils in the Feelings Kit. Each essential oil works in a different way to help release whatever is holding you back from reaching your true potential! I like to pair an affirmation with each oil to really work the brain and get the maximum benefits out of this kit!

The Feelings Kit Protocol is a 30-day routine where you apply these 6 oils morning and at night. The order and application placement is important to maximize the emotional response of the body. You will want to take your time with each step before morning to the next! This is great to do once a quarter, every 6 months or yearly! I highly recommend keeping a journal throughout this time! It amazing to be able to look back and see your transformation!

  • Step 1: Apply Valor on the bottom of your feet to balance your feelings.

  • Step 2: Apply Harmony on the energy points of the body to release unpleasant energies

  • Step 3: Apply Forgiveness on the navel and let go of negative emotion

  • Step 4: Apply Present Time on the wrists and behind the ears

  • Step 5: Apply Release over the liver

  • Step 6: Apply Inner Child under your nose

  • Step 7: Apply Valor once more to end the Feelings Kit application. Valor completes the experience with feelings of balance and integrity.
